Well, I mean, what do these goofs think they’re accomplishing? Do they expect someone to vote differently as a result of reading all this cut-and-paste stuff? Do they see themselves as the town crier, like none of us read the papers and need them to keep us up to date? Do they imagine they’re making some difference? Is this something Mao wrote in the Little Red Book, "Political power comes from posting news articles in a guitar amplifier newsgroup?" Right or left, this was crap when LV did it and it’s still crap when the lefties do it, it’s just self-indulgent crapola.
Response:
I’ve been calling this a mistake since BEFORE we invaded. No "WMD." Unilateral attack was based on (at best) flawed "intelligence," or out and out lies (depending on who you want to believe, but there’s proof that Bush was warned that some of his "facts" were highly suspect). I’ve been calling it a civil war for months. Duhbya still says he’d make no changes, he’d do it all over again (but he FINALLY said that he regretted the "bring it on" remark a few months ago). Meanwhile, Bin Laden’s smiling like a Cheshire cat, because our focus on Iraq (and other bonehead moves) allowed his continued freedom. Let’s hope we stay out of active participation in Lebanon, and that Duhbya doesn’t see recent events as an invitation to repeat the fiasco in Lebanon, Syria and Iran. If mid term elections weren’t coming up, I think Duhbya would be more aggressive. Meanwhile, N. Korea…

Actually, when someone bothers to respond to one of Willie’s displaced baboons it is a major event in their sad, pathetic existence. Even when they are mocked and laughed at, it is at least a brief indication to them that someone realizes that they are still breathing.

Don’t try to change the subject, we’re talking about what you think you achieve by posting news articles to a guitar amplifier group. Joining an existing conversation is one thing, but all this cut-and-paste stuff is just bizarre. Are you so unable to express your thoughts that you have no choice but to borrow the words of others? What is the point?

In which case you must be covered with hives and too stupid to know what to do about it.

That’s what I figured, another frustrated online tourist who figures posting the work of better men is almost like he’s making a difference. What’s next, selections from Hemingway and Steinbeck?
Response:
But Bush says we are winning the war in Iraq, and there is GOOD news on all fronts…

Actually, dufus, we’re not. If you check the subject header out we are talking about Iraq being over for all intents and purpose. — Ken Wilson

Whenever you’re dead wrong and have been for eons; 1.] Play the "other guy’s a whiner" card. 2.] Select your moron in office. Affix the adjective "bashing" to relay your ‘indignation’. See 1 and 2 above and be a cretin like gtski, devin, madman, claudel to detract any semblance of cred to what’s attempting to be said
